Welcome to the website of Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra Memorial School of
Nursing. The SMLDM school of nursing was set up by
Punjab Government because Punjab Health System Corporation felt the need
of the hour to improve the health status of the people.
They believe the girls after attaining GNM course will serve the community and will gain the experience & will
upgrade the professional growth. So this school has been established from 4 june (2011).
- 50 seats recognized by Punjab Govt. on 30.01.2011.
- 40 seats recognized by Indian Nursing Council on 23.06.2011.
- Punjab Nursing Registration Council recognized on 23.08.2011.

I wish to convey my heartfelt greetings to all the nursing students. Nursing profession as it is the most truly considered, is a highly honorable profession involving compassionate and dedicated care. Florence Nightingale, affectionately known as the saintly, iron-willed “ lady with lamp” is a legend, her benignant presence was an influence for comport even amidst the struggle of expiring nature.
